In all programs offered by this campus, we are committed to train, retrain, cross-train, and continually upgrade Louisiana's workforce so that individuals are employable at both entry and advanced levels. The business community served by this campus supports our endeavors and depends on us to provide them with an educated and technically competent workforce.

At Coreil Campus, we are student-oriented. Faculty and staff share the viewpoint that this campus exists for the benefit of its students rather than for our own employment and convenience. We sincerely do our best to assist individuals in making informed and meaningful occupational choices. Our combined efforts help students to reach economic goals that are compatible to their personal desires and abilities. However, to achieve such success, students also must cooperate in this unified training effort by concentrating on their studies and by respecting the rights and dignity of other students and campus staff.

Charles B Coreil Campus is located in the city of Ville Platte, the heart of Evangeline Parish. We are a vocational and technical college delivering courses and programs through on-campus instruction and the Internet.

Principal industries of the campuses service area include health services, manufacturing, wholesale, and retail. Some of the leading employers in the Ville Platte vicinity include Cooper Cameron, Ville Platte Medical Center, Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Savoy Medical Center, Cabot (carbon-black manufacturing), Union Tank Car (railroad equipment manufacture and repair service, Century Telephone Enterprises (communications), and Wal-Mart.

The town of Ville Platte serves as the Evangeline Parish seat, which houses the parish courthouse and the clerk of courts office. Evangeline Parish has 11 public schools and 2 private schools.

Louisiana Technical College (LTC), Charles B Coreil Campus delivers instructional programs which provide skilled employees for business and industry that contribute to the overall economic development and workforce needs of the state.
