The National
Vocational-Technical Honor Society is an honor organization for outstanding
students enrolled in occupational or technical programs. Qualifications for
membership require the student to be a third-term student with a 3.0 GPA.
A national honor society members receive a seal on the diploma or degree. The
national office will also submit a letter of recommendation to potential
employers for members.

career and technical education.
Thousands of schools and colleges throughout the U.S. and its territories
have a chapter of the honor society on their campus. These member schools agree
that NTHS encourages higher scholastic achievement, cultivates a desire for
personal excellence, and helps top students find success in today's highly
competitive workplace.
NTHS awards an increasing number of scholarships each year to it's members.

NTHS Purpose:
The National Technical Honor Society is a
nonprofit, honor organization for outstanding students enrolled in occupational,
vocational, or technical programs. These students may attend secondary school,
vocational centers, technical colleges, private occupational training
institutions or colleges with technical majors.
NTHS Eligibility:
Students must have an overall GPA of at least a 3.0 and fill out an
application signed by their advisor. Students are eligible to enroll the
semester before they plan to graduate. The fee for NTHS membership is $32.00. |
